Overview of SAP PM

SAP PM is one of the important functional modules of SAP ECC where it helps an enterprise in inspecting, preventing maintenance, repairing activities and maintenance planning for the organization. This module of SAP can be integrated with other SAP modules such as SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP and SAP CO.

There are 3 main reasons to perform SAP PM. They are:

Inspection - Identifying the actual condition
Repair - Restoring to the optimal state
Prevention – Maintaining the current condition
