Pricing - Uplatz charges a small commission on each course sold as per the following:

  1. A student approaching a tutor directly through Uplatz - We charge only 15% of the listed course price by that tutor

  2. Uplatz offering a course to any tutor directly - We charge a maximum of 30% of our listed course price

  3. A tutor brings his/her own student on Uplatz and only uses some services of Uplatz such as payment gateway, live meeting tool, etc. - We charge only 5% of the listed course price



How to post a course?

  1. Register on www.uplatz.com

  2. Verification - You will receive an email with the verification link. Click on that link to verify your e-mail address.

  3. Post your course by clicking on "Post a Course" from the header menu



What are the Do's & Don'ts of posting a course?

Do's

  1. Be specific while describing the course you are offering by using clear and articulate language to help learners get the actual idea of what they are going to learn with you.

  2. Enlist some reasons as to why the learners should buy your course. What are the job prospects after doing this course and how will it help them further in their career.

  3. Put on a relevant image in the Title image (background image). Having an image to your course gives a professional look.

  4. Adopt competitive pricing - Offering a quality course at the reasonable and cost-effective price can result in a significant increase in the number of interested learners.

  5. Attach a file while 'Posting your course' to explain your course structure. This overview helps learners to make an informed decision.

  6. Attach a Video, it can be wither a short introduction of yourself or your course



Don'ts

  1. Do not post the same course repeatedly as it will be deleted.

  2. Do not copy the content for your course description from the post of other tutors.



How to edit your 'Posted course'?

The course you posted can be edited/deactivated/deleted at any point of time.

In order to edit your post:

  1. Login to your Uplatz account

  2. Go to 'My offered Courses' by clicking on your profile name in the header of the website.

  3. Click on the post you want to edit.

  4. Tap on 'Edit/Delete' tab and click on 'Edit' in the dropdown.



How to market and raise awareness about your posted course?

  1. Share your course on your social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google plus)

  2. Organize a workshop on uplatz.com to attract a wider audience.



How to update your profile?

Updating your profile is quick, easy and advantageous.

List your skills, write your bio, write your personal brand, and add a link to your blog or website,

In order to update your profile:

  1. Login to your Uplatz account

  2. Go to 'My Profile' by clicking on your profile name in the header of the website.

  3. Click on 'Edit Profile' tab in your profile.

  4. Enter the details and click on 'Update profile'. Done!
