Master Data in SAP PM

SAP PM is a module in SAP ECC which is responsible for maintaining all the maintenance activities within an organization. The key component in the SAP PM module is the Master Data which contains the information stored in a database for a longer period which is then used for different applications and functions. It is a shared source of information that all departments can access and utilize to perform their jobs.

Some of the different Master Data of SAP PM are; Work Center, Functional Location, Equipment, Serial Numbers and Equipment, Assembly, and Functional Location BOM.
