About this Course
ABAP has its technology platform underlying the SAP S/4HANA 2020 which in addition is a part of ABAP Platform 2020 and vice versa. To run SAP S/4HANA, the ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse along with other Technology components were required to carry out the workflow for the smooth functioning of the S/4HANA technology. Along with this, the previous versions of S/4HANA such as 1511, 1610, 1709, and others was being now upgraded to SAP S/4HANA 2020 which was based on ABAP Platform 2020.
One of the vital tools under ABAP is the ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), used specifically for doing static and dynamic quality checking of ABAP Code which can also be used to monitor ATC results for custom code objects. It is the ATC tool only that identifies potential issues which might hamper the SAP S/4HANA migration efforts. Along with the usage check process, it also scans the ABAP code used by object types that have depreciated in the SAP S/4HANA.
