SAP COPA
COPA is a sub-module under the SAP Controlling (CO) system where “PA” stands for Profitability Analysis. One of the core aspects for any business is to assess the profitability measure and as such SAP COPA helps organizations in analyzing organizational profitability structure. It can be used by any branch of a company and the profitability analysis here uses the Cost-of-Sales Accounting method.
COPA is the most valuable functionality provided by the SAP CO module, which helps in
analyzing the profitability from various dimensions and collecting useful data from other functions such as MM, SD, Production and Finance. There are 2 types of CO-PA in the SAP system- (i) Account-based and (ii) Costing based.
In this SAP COPA course from Uplatz, learners will learn the basic overview of COPA, the configuration steps involved in it, setting up of product costing, cost object controlling and many more.
