1.     Introduction to ERP & SAP

2.    SAP ABAP

ABAP or Advanced Business Application Programming is a high level programming language developed by SAP which is extracted from the base computing languages such as Java, C, C++ and Python. It is primarily used to develop enterprise application for large businesses and financial institutions on SAP platform. To understand ABAP, one should have a prior basic knowledge on programming languages like Java and database technologies to make the most of this SAP module. ABAP can help customize workflows for financial accounting, materials management, asset management, and all other modules of SAP. It allows users to control the runtime system, which is a part of the SAP kernel. SAP ABAP program is either an executable unit or a library, which is a reusable code and is divided into 2 types:

1.     Reports, and

2.     Module pools 


3.     SAP Materials Management

SAP MM or Material Management System is a SAP module that provides companies with materials, inventory and warehouse management capabilities. It is a part of SAP ERP Central Component’s (ECC) logistics function that plays a vital role in a manufacturer’s supply chain. It supports all aspects of material management and is considered as a backbone of logistics that incorporates modules such as Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, and Warehouse Management. SAP MM deals with managing the materials and resources of an organization with the aim of accelerating productivity and reducing costs. It is fully integrated with other modules in the SAP R/3 System such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM).
 

4.     SAP Production Planning

SAP PP or Production Planning is a SAP module that is specially designed for integrating different department involved in production and manufacturing. It is the process of meeting the demand and manufacturing capacity of an organization. It helps an organization schedule the procurement and manufacturing of products. Production Planning module is fully integrated with other SAP modules such as sales and distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Logistics Execution (LE).

5.     SAP FICO

SAP FICO which stands for FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) is a SAP module whose main objective is to record all financial transactions that are posted by an entity and produce financial statements that are accurate at the end of the training period.  SAP FI is made up of sub modules that are often used for accounts receivables, accounts payables, asset accounting, general ledger accounting and bank accounting. All these sub modules are interlinked and integrated in real-time. It integrates with various other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, PM, and PS.


6.     Oracle DBA

DBA or Database Administration is mainly based on the RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) which helps a user to become an oracle DB administrator. One should have good problem solving and analytical skills along with the organizational skills to excel in this course.


7.     Oracle PL/SQL

PL/SQL is a combination of SQL along with the procedurals of programming language which was developed by Oracle Corporation to enhance the capabilities of SQL. It is one of the three key programming languages embedded in the Oracle database along with SQL itself and Java.


8.     Microsoft Project

Microsoft project is a project management software developed by Microsoft which is designed to assist a project manager in scheduling, resourcing tasks, tracking progress, managing the budget and analyzing workloads for individuals working under them.


9.     Mongo DB

MongoDB is a document-oriented NoSQL database used for high volume data storage. Instead of using tables and rows as in the traditional relational databases, MongoDB makes use of collections and documents.


10.  JavaScript

JavaScript or commonly abbreviated as JS is a lightweight programming language which is commonly used as a part of web pages whose implementations allow client-side script to interact with the user and make dynamic pages. It is an interpreted programming language with object-oriented capabilities.
